Member spotlight: ISACA-MN

This month we are highlighting our member, Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA-MN). The ISACA-MN is a premier member-driven nonprofit with the aim to continually educate and promote important issues in the Information Technology sphere, specifically, IT governance, IS audit, control, and security.

What originally started as a local chapter of the EDPAA in 1975 has quickly grown to a thriving and successful organization. Currently there are over 1000 members from 100 different organizations across Minnesota and surrounding areas. In 2007 ISACA-MN was awarded the K. Wayne Snipes award for being the Best Very Large Chapter in North America.

Throughout the calendar year, ISACA-MN hosts monthly chapter dinner meetings, an annual  spring conference, training opportunities, and social events for members. Join ISACA-MN, for their next event, The 2013 COSO Framework on Internal Control: Increased Information Technology Implications and How To Prepare for the Changes, on Tuesday, October 22^nd from 3-5:00 p.m.
