Secure360 Wisconsin 2018: Recap!
Thank you to all of our Secure360 Wisconsin attendees, sponsors, speakers, volunteers, board and staff members who attended our 2018 event! We had a great time planning the conference. Each session and speaker was carefully chosen to curate this professional two-day cybersecurity event.
Day 1
The Wisconsin Center trade show hall began to come to life as our sponsors arrived on Wednesday afternoon, just in time for Wednesday workshops! Attendees were able to choose to hear from James Arndt, Charlotte Tschider or Simon Puleo and Ron LaPedis. Immediately following was a happy hour reception held at Miller Time Pub – it was a full house! Happy hour quickly turned into a happy three hours of networking, cheese curds and great drinks.
Day 2
Thursday began with coffee, just as every day should. Attendees came together early in the morning to hear from our keynote speaker, Alex Holden. He gave attendees a unique perspective into current and recent events in cybersecurity, such as the Equifax breach. Following our keynote address was a day filled with a variety of sessions from over 15 speakers. It was a privilege to see demonstrations from our sponsors Exabeam, Cisco and Hold Security. Attendees enjoyed participating in the sticker scavenger hunt and networking with over 20 sponsors in the trade show hall. The day wrapped up with one final session from Byron Franz, special agent of the FBI.
