Member spotlight: ASIS MN Chapter
In this edition of the member spotlight, we are highlighting the local Minnesota chapter of American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS). Founded in 1955, ASIS International has grown to an organization with over 38,000 members and more than 200 chapters worldwide. The ASIS Minnesota Chapter is made up of a network of local businesses, security industries, and local government – all dedicated to continually educating security professionals on security issues. ASIS MN promotes collaboration within its organization by offering networking and educational opportunities to promote professional development.
ASIS MN caters to seasoned and young professionals alike, and offers monthly chapter events, open to members and non-members. Additionally, ASIS offers a network of resources in the form of job openings, seminar and training opportunities and encourages collaboration with other nearby local chapters. Membership includes access to free webinars and a discounted rate on monthly chapter meetings.
