Keynote Speaker: Nancy Burke – FuturePerfect and burke&penn – Nancy Burke is a seasoned Career Coach who helps people find their appropriate fit in the workplace and who works with people who want to explore and design the next step in their careers.
Nancy is co-author of the recently-released book, Power Your Career: The Art of Tactful Self-Promotion at Work She is a frequent speaker on that topic, as well as: How to Stay Marketable in a Changing World, Developing Personal Resilience., and Job Hunting over 50.
Her experiences in corporate environments, as a small business owner, as well as her extensive non-profit board and volunteer experience, give her a broad view of careers and knowledge of what helps people be successful in their worklives. Whether they are planning a portfolio life, looking for a job, starting a business, or defining meaning in their lives, Nancy knows their territory.

Breakout Speaker A: Richard Dodson Through his writing, speaking and consulting, Richard empowers careerists and entrepreneurs to raise their visibility, unlock opportunities, and earn more recognition and reward. After years as a VP with Lee Hecht Harrison, where he coached more than 1000 clients through tough career challenges, he recently launched Artisan Digital, an agency focused on digital publishing, e-commerce and launching experts into the digital space to increase their impact and income. Richard’s career began at age 14 with his first paying job as…a magician!
Break-out Session B: “Identifying Biases & Cultural Misunderstandings in the First Impression”
Breakout Speaker B: Lila Kelly, Principal of Lila Kelly Associates, LLC and DiversityIntegration.com, has decades of experience in the areas of diversity and inclusion, human resource management, recruitment and hiring, training and educating, and career transition. She combines all areas of her background in her unique approach to integrate diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) into hiring, managing and retaining a diverse workforce.
She consults and trains in the areas of integrating diversity and inclusion into recruiting, interviewing and hiring, organizational assessment and strategic action planning, structuring hiring practices, and centralizing recruiting efforts. Her work spans many industries, including government, healthcare, K-12 education, non-profit, corporate and technology.
