Stephanie will dive into Cyber Third-Party Risk Management by walking us through her recent experience integrating security and privacy risk assessments into one team. She will then move on to discussing how to improve work culture to keep your security team members in this competitive climate, followed by sharing tips on how to have effective relationships with stakeholders and third parties.
Speaker: Stephanie Kasten, Manager- Third Party Risk, Medtronic
Stephanie joined Medtronic over five years ago and her current role is leading the Cyber Third-Party Risk Management team for Medtronic’s Global Security Office (GSO). She is passionate about reducing risk, simplifying complex issues, and building cohesion across organizations. Stephanie also serves as co-chair on the Medtronic Leadership team for Genesys Works.
Before coming to Medtronic, Stephanie was at Target for 7+ years in various roles and had a brief stint at Optum. Stephanie holds a bachelor’s degree from Metropolitan State University and is currently pursuing her MBA at the University of St. Thomas.
