Thomas “Tom” Legare has worked more than 29 years in the domestic and international communications industry with multinational corporations on a myriad of growth and engineering-related issues that have also included strategic positioning, vendor alliances, business development, and international expansion.
Tom’s clients have included Fortune 500 and FT500 companies based in the Manufacturing, Financial Services, Energy, Healthcare and Retail sectors. Tom’s designs have focused on creating tailored solutions for addressing corporate challenges by maximizing new technologies in cloud computing, security, cloud-based networking, mobility, and IoT, while incorporating business continuity and disaster recovery. Tom’s structured approach to the optimization of cloud and networking technologies produces benefits to clients in terms of cost and increased services to internal customers.
Tom has been variously based in Minneapolis, Amsterdam, New York and, for the past 19 years, Chicago. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. Tom is a volunteer for several non-profit organizations.
