SUMMARY:BCPA - Looking Backward to Run Forward
DESCRIPTION:Presentation Description\n \nLessons Learned – We have all been there and done that. The problems? Lack of participation\, boring sessions\, rarely implemented improvements\, and some great ideas are just sitting on a shelf collecting dust. Ugh. What a waste of time. How can we ensure that we stop wasting people’s time and prevent past’s mistakes for a brighter future? There are powerful lessons to be learned\, but we need to change the approach to get more out of our retrospective and lessons learned.  \nPresenter \nPaul Crosby is one of the Founders & CFO at The Uncommon League. Paul is also the full-time instructor for Project Management\, Agile\, and Strategic Enterprise Analysis.

DESCRIPTION:Presentation: \nMany companies are preparing for long term security solutions for employees. Josh will provide best practices and considerations for products and tools\, as well as how to appropriately vet vendors via RFP process. SUMMARY:ISACA - Cloud Risk and Compliance – Managing Complexity of Risks in the Cloud
DESCRIPTION:Presentation: \nOrganizations transition data and systems to the cloud to gain efficiencies and cost savings but related IT risks and compliance obligations are often not fully understood or addressed. It is important for organizations to evaluate\, develop and implement comprehensive cloud policies\, procedures and controls to address those risks. As organizations handle sensitive information and must meet stringent regulatory compliance requirements\, it is important for organizations that transition to the various cloud environments to identify\, mitigate and manage those risks. Is your organization effectively and holistically managing your cloud IT risk? \nPresenters: \nCarrie Furr\, Director\, RSM\, US LLP; and Matthew Kissell\, Supervisor\, RSM US LLP

SUMMARY:ISACA -- Real-world applications for blockchain based distributed ledgers
DESCRIPTION:Bitcoin was introduced to the world over eleven years ago as an alternative currency platform that quickly has become a new gold standard in the storage and transfer of value. The underlying blockchain technology has its roots deep in software and systems engineering that goes back decades to the first revision control systems. In this session\, we’ll explore that brief history and the novel “consensus mechanisms” that make the technology disruptive as well as the real-world examples of how it can be harnessed.
